Aerodromes

Based on the Law no. 10 040, dated 22.12.2008 “Air Code of the Republic of Albania”, amended, (Official Journal No.200 December 2008 / Nr.164 December 2011) for the purposes of this Code, “aerodrome” means, a defined area on land or water, including any building, installation and equipment which is used in whole or in part for the arrival, departure and movement of aircraft.

The Albanian Civil Aviation Authority is authorized to certify civil aerodromes, supervise and inspect technical and operational conditions based on the Order of the Minister No. 130, dated 09/11/2012.
